The poem SKĪĪSLANDER from The Grace of Rain tells of how we can be reminded daily that God keeps His word. Told in the mythical style, the poem reminds me of the verse in Hebrews 13:2 “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” As angels are messengers (that is what the word “angel” means) let us not forget today to “entertain” (2nd definition: to give attention to) strangers (things not familiar to us) for thereby we might receive a messenger (and message) or reminder from God.  I pray you enjoy giving attention to what God might be saying to you through unexpected things today.

And when it becomes available soon, I hope you enjoy the SKĪĪSLANDER poem, in The Grace of Rain.
